Let's look at seven sweet things most woman wants to hear

Whether they tell you or not, most women value verbal encouragement.

Speaking words of love and appreciation not only brings a smile to their faces but also gives them an extra push that helps bring their best to the world.

It's true, some people have a knack for giving others strength and energy through their words, and others find it awkward and often tricky.

However, no matter where you sit, let this blog post serve as a help and a reminder of the seven sentences most women want to hear.

    1. You inspire me.

We believe to inspire, first you must be inspired. We also believe that when someone inspires us it is a great thing to let them know. The women who give rise to our dreams and goals can often be taken for granted. However, cherishing those that source you with motivation and creativity can not only be of benefit to them, but also to you. Take a moment to think about the women who inspire you. Maybe they are multitasking mums, sisters who get up every time they are knocked down or women who are excelling in the area you wish to excel in. Whoever they are, they need to hear three powerful words - ‘you inspire me’.

    2. I appreciate you.

Women need to be recognised for their work and efforts. When their contribution is seen and the value they bring is acknowledged, they lift. Often, a lot of what women do goes unnoticed. Their days are filled with tasks big and small. They not only hold great weight and responsibility in theworkforce, but are often also the main caregiver to their families. Saying, ‘ I appreciate you’ to the women in your world is a great way to express your gratitude for everything they do. They will feel respected and celebrated. And we all know women who deserve that!

    3. I’m proud of you.

This little sentence is one often said by a parent to a child. However, both women and men love to be complimented in this way. Saying these words show that you see their accomplishments; you see how far they have come and that their actions, words, or character stand out. Women have long lived in the shadow of men. When they are given the light they so rightly deserve it's a win for everyone. Being proud of the women in our lives benefits us all.

    4. I enjoy being around you.

Obviously we can't say these words to everyone. We all know people, both women and men we can't stand. However, the ones we like spending time with, need to be told. When people know that being in their company is pleasant, that talking with them is enjoyable, that their presence is uplifting and that they are fun to be around, it fosters friendship that becomes invaluable. Imagine someone saying these words to you. How do you feel? Welcomed? Wanted? Cherished?

    5. I trust you.

We think trust is one of the most precious things held in the human heart. This is because, when it is broken, it is very hard to repair. Trust is also rare. We would take a guess that there are not too many people you could say these words to. However, saying these words to the women you trust is important as it strengthens relationships and builds closeness. Note, these words must be shown as well as said. You can show your trust by giving her space to make decisions, allowing her to take the lead, and backing her all the way.

    6. I like the way you think.

Women are often complimented for their looks. Pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, hot, and stunning are just some of the words women are taught to aspire to hear. However, women long to be recognised for their skills, talents and intelligence as well. Telling a woman that she has a beautiful mind is one of the best ways you can acknowledge her worth and personhood.

    7. I love you.

We also believe that saying ‘I love you’ should be a daily practice. Text it, mime it, shout it, sing it, send it in a letter or write in the sky - it needs to be written, said and lived. Love is for anytime and anyplace, because it is the great gap filler, the perfect answer.

Why not say it now. Drop these three magical words in your Mother’s, Sister’s, Daughter’s, Aunt’s, Niece’s or Bestie’s DM’s and make her day.
